This is a very useful resource, which is a worksheet on interpreting pie charts, which is suitable for use in KS3 and GCSE Maths foundation classes.
The worksheet contains a number of pie charts and asks students to correctly label statements pertaining to each pie chart to be either definitely true, could be true or not true. It encourages students to think deeper about what they are learning and lends itself well to collaborative learning: students could complete this task in pairs and groups and discuss/feedback their findings. There’s strong cross-curricular links with literacy in this activity with ample opportunities for students to justify and communicate their answers.
