This Medicine Through Time lesson investigates the story of the smallpox vaccine - students look at the role of Lady Mary Montague, Edward Jenner, the government and the Anti-Vaccination League, in order to write a narrative showing the impact of each factor.
This download includes a fully editable powerpoint with all activities, instructions, clip links and worksheets/information sheets you need. It is differentiated at least two ways where possible with scaffolding and challenge options and is fully planned with plenty of activities for your students to complete including a starter, clip and activities, information sheet with questions to complete, a mini plenary, a consolidation narrative question and two plenaries.
Activities are planned to encourage thinking and discussion.
