Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde - A fully differentiated and resourced lesson that focuses on Chapter 5 of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, or ‘The Incident of the Letter’. In this lesson we look at how Jekyll’s laboratory is introduced to us, how Utterson and Jekyll behave around each other after Hyde’s awful murder of Sir Danvers Carew, and the significance of the letter and its handwriting contained within. A n ideal lesson for KS4 students working towards AQA English Literature Paper 1 and easily adaptable for KS3.
