Theme 2 on the AQA GCSE specification, easily adaptable to the new AQA or Edexcel specification. All images have been removed so as to adhere to copyright laws. I recommend adding images to choral repetition task (duel coding)

Tried and tested lesson on “Je mange” including:

• Suggested scheme of learning.
• Key structures to be used throughout the lesson (introduced with choral repetition)
• A sentence builder which can be use for miniwhiteboard tasks / as a scaffold for listening and writing.
• A listening memory game, which works effectively as a listening task on the new Edexcel specification (dictation style task)
• A scaffolded listening dictation which forms a model paragraph for a writing task.
• A reading comprehension task with two reading activities and two writing activities including translation and independent writing.
