This pack has a student/teacher friendly workbook that introduces The Bacchae and Section B of the Eduqas A Level Component 3 paper. It covers an introduction to section B, Ancient Greek Theatre History, how to use the theatre history in an essay, The Bacchae synopsis and analysis, Who’s who in The Bacchae and a short design and acting exercise based on the Prologue delivered by Dionysus. The booklet has independent and whole class activities to develop an understanding of the play, the myths behind it and theatre history.
I have written short lesson plans as a guide to work alongside the booklet.
