This resource follows the AQA GCSE Biology specification for Infection and Response as part of Biology paper 1 and is suitable for combined and triple (separate) science higher and foundation tiers.

Content includes:

The revision lesson contains all key content from this specification carefully condensed into one revision session (approximately 1.5-2.5 hours), with assessment for learning using GCSE multiple choice questions throughout to check for understanding and independent GCSE questions to increase learner agency. Exam questions have been carefully selected to cater toward grade 5 for foundation tier, and grade 7+ for higher tier students.

There is an A3 sheet (can be printed double sided or as A4) at the end of the presentation, each student should have this to complete throughout the lesson. This is an effective revision resource for students to take home with them to consolidate this entire module.

All questions have answers in the notes section to support teachers less confident in certain areas. The revision lesson is structured in a supportive way for all learners to develop and consolidate learning over time, and apply understanding to new contexts.
