A lesson taught to Y7 about indigenous people in tropical rainforests in S. America, Africa and SE Asia. It includes:

  • Describing the distribution of uncontacted indigenous people using CLOCK.
  • Describing indigenous peoples homes - link to videos too
  • Gap fill activity on how indigenous people get food.
  • Reading of diary entry.
  • Reading activity and then students complete information table about the ways of life of 4 different indigenous peoples.
  • Questions based on the table they completed.

Please note all APK’s/ starter activities are specific to my school’s SOW so may need editing.
