This timeline activity is a hands-on visual way for children to see the changes that have been made in the history of land transport, from the time when people first domesticated horses to the hybrid car.

The timeline has four differentiated options so that you can meet the needs of your learners, and there is the option to make a foldable version which is a mini-book. The mini-book has a shorter, simpler version with 8 pictures to glue on (use with clues), and a longer version with 11 pictures to glue on (use without clues).

Children can either keep the foldable in accordion style to take home or make it into a mini-book which can be taped into workbooks.

What’s included?

  • Timeline and real photos to match up to the dates
  • Differentiated worksheets
  • Interactive foldable with visual step-by-step instructions
  • Logic-style clues to solve the order of the timeline
  • U.S and U.K versions
  • Answer key

You will receive a zip file with PDFs.
