Resource details
This download includes ALL sounds for Phase 2 phonics. Each sound is part of a set - four sets are included. Set 1 includes sounds s a t p i n, Set 2 includes sounds m d g o c k, Set 3 includes sounds ck e b r u h and Set 4 includes sounds f ff l ll ss.
This activity has been designed to write straight on. Letters include ‘starting dots’ so learners know where to place their pencil to begin and dots on top of letters guide where to write.
Phase 2 All Sounds
There are four sheets included (for each set), slightly different in design and level of challenge/support provided, though each sheet is numbered 1 - 4 (at the top of each sheet). These numbers (and the cover image) left to right indicate the levels in order of easiest to hardest. Sheet 1 provides the most support with the least amount of challenge, sheet 4 provides the least amount of support with the most challenge. The different designs makes it easier to select the level that best suits your learner/s.

Learners have one set (row) of each letter/sound to write - using the starting dot and dotted lines (on top of each pale grey letter shape) as a guide. -

Learners have two sets (rows) of each letter/sound to write - using the dotted lines as a guide for the first line. The second line includes the same (grey) letter shapes for learners to trace over without a starting dot and without the dotted line guides. Some letters share the empty line due to limited space. -
