Grief and Loss Primary PSHE
This brand-new lesson has been created for use with students in Year 3. Building on our KS1 knowledge where we talked about happy and sad changes, this lesson will introduce the concept of loss.
We will discuss loss in a variety of contexts including the loss of a friends, moving to a new home, or new school, and also loss in the context of a bereavement.
We will also discuss grief in terms of an emotional response to loss, before focusing our learning on a focus text, specifically Badger’s Parting Gifts by Susan Varley.
