Teacher takes pupils through the pronunciation of the expressions (listen and repeat).
Pupils match the French weather expressions with their English equivalent (with or without dictionaries). This could involve: copying into vocab jotter by hand; matching up on a print-out; copying and pasting vocab into virtual jotters on Google Classroom (or similar).
Vocabulary could be used for bingo.
Teacher could mime the weather and ask pupils to provide the appropriate expression in French.
Pupils could also mime the weather and other pupils could provide the French expression.
Teacher could give several examples of how some of the expressions can be negativized and ask pupils to do the same with other expressions.
