This new double lesson for 2023 focusing on hate crime and hate speech in the UK, how it is legally classified, real life examples, how it affects the victims and where we can go for help and support if we experience or see hate crime happening. Students will investigate case studies, analyse instances from clip tasks, evaluate the results of government surveys and discover why there are debates surrounding the increase in UK hate crime.
