This is an ESL English lesson, tailored to the new Pearson Edexcel (2023) ESL GCSE examination series. The lesson focuses on the third unit: Employment.
Students begin by looking at the elements needed for a successful CV. Following this is a differentiated listening task whereby students answer some comprehension questions around jobs. They then read an example of a CV and plan and then write their own. Most tasks are differentiated to accommodate those with a basic level of English, to the more proficient speakers.
