L1 - AN INTRODUCTION TO Q5
- Breakdown of the mark scheme and introducing the structure they should follow, exposing them to a range of techniques and an end example of what it looks like all together.
L2 - BUILDING ENGAGING NARRATIVES - Exposes students to hearing different ideas to promote thinking and ideas, this lesson is not to focus on structure but generating ideas and getting a feel for writing creatively.
L3 - PUTTING IT INTO PRACTICE - Group work to give the students a smaller breakdown on working together, the focus of this lesson should be using the five sense, descriptive work, language techniques etc.
L4 - USING THE 5 SENSES - Individual work focus, and peer marking - based on the exam board to expose students to what it is they need to look out for to gain the most amount of marks - quality over quantity focus
L5 - MAKING A STORY PLAN - Adapting to the Freytag’s Pyramid and using this technique to plan their creative writing story when they are introduced to a exam question
