As I have adult GCSE learners whose English is a second language, I find they often struggle with creative writing. I have created a worksheet, initially to be used as homework, which is scaffolded to think outside the box when it come to vocabulary, sentence structures and the senses. The worksheet ends with a small written task based on an image. Please amend to suit your cohorts, hope it helps.
