Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed SOW
Lessons include recall / starter tasks, group work, extension tasks, self-assessment, peer assessment, choreography tasks, visual aids etc.
Key skills include - pathways, characterisation, formations, synchronisation, coordination, elevation, freeze frames.
Numeracy skills - rhythm and counting
Literacy skills - key words, subject specific vocabulary.
A fun series of lessons which can be adapted to KS2 or 3 Dance. Could also be adapted for Drama / Physical Theatre.
(For the Dance routine I used the music from the Umpa Lumpa Dance from the new Charlie and the chocolate factory film)
