This 2 part resource allows you to tip your toes in the water with generative design, an intelligent computing add-on within Fusion 360 which allows you to program in some different parameters, then allow the cutting edge software to do the rest. This can be used as a tool to optimise your designs based on things like stiffness or reducing the mass required to withstand a certain force. In this tutorial you will set up some of the bodies which are needed, and develop skills in the sketch environment, including 2 point rectangles, dimensioning and the move tool, along with also using the extrude tool to make a solid body from a sketch.

It can be used by both students and teachers as a resource and worksheet for learning skills on Fusion 360 CAD software, with follow questions to test learning.

Really good for STEM & STEAM lessons.
