In this bundle of lessons, students gain an understanding of all the C design theory content of the IB DP Design and Technology course at SL level. This content makes up one-third of the total theory for the entire SL course.
Lessons include objectives, keywords, engaging activities, videos and real-world examples that students can relate to. Lessons culminate in a task where students consolidate and apply the key theory that they have learnt so that they are prepared for any IB DP assessments.
Lessons cover the entirety of what students need to learn for this topic:
C1 People: C1.1 Responsibility of the designer, C1.2 Inclusive design.
C2 Process: C2.1 Design for sustainability, C2.2 Design for a circular economy.
C3 Product: C3.1 Product analysis and evaluation.
