The country has come to a standstill. All systems are shutdown (apart from emergency services) and the President has been rushed to the situation room to reason with…an AI chatbot? What does it want? Just to have a ‘taste’ of some pizza. What could possibly go wrong?
This is my fourth whole class story but is much shorter than previous texts (only 4 chapters). I would airdrop this story to my class on their iPads and have them pair read - but it would be just as easy to print for your class (might want to adjust the text font/size for individuals in your class).
The tasks are a little different to - my class wanted to do more drama and learn how to shoot effective movies on their devices, so the tasks revolve around this area of learning. Yet, would be very easy to adjust the accompanying slides for more traditional reading detectives/circle/comp activities if you wish.
