This is a fun resource pack that will deliver great writing and make children able to read and write adverts. There is a theme park advert model text, purposely written to show persuasive techniques with a writing scaffold & teaching notes explaining the genre features to get great writing results. There is also a fun adverts PowerPoint that uses animation, so pupils remember persuasive techniques. In addition, there are guided reading learning mats for persuasive texts to structure discussion to de-construct adverts and brochures. It gives pupils a new set of glasses with which they can "read" adverts being used in the World around them. Pupils learn adverts are constructed and they build the skills and strategies to de-construct adverts and to write persuasively themselves.
