A 5 week SOW on based on Capoeira.
Students will learn the 5 basic dance actions as well as learning about motif’s, formations, mirroring and pathways. Students will learn Capoeira moves within create x3 motifs which they will develop into a dance phrase.
The SOW includes recall activities, group work, scaffolded tasks, extension tasks and plenaries. The SOW builds up to a final performance with a peer and self-assessment.
