This PowerPoint is designed to ensure your students are completely prepared for the Beethoven set work question on the AQA exam. With a complete analysis of Beethoven’s ‘Symphony No 1 in C, Op.21, 1st Movement, the score has been annotated with colour coded notes that refer to each element of music (DR SMITH). There is also a simple guide to sonata form with diagrams and timings so students can easily hear when each section occurs in the music. The PowerPoint contains all notes set out in AQA’s teacher guide for the set work.

Please note: you can turn off the score playing automatically in the background by right clicking on the speaker icon and selecting “style” and “no style”.
