This lesson explores the key similarities and differences of liberal and radical feminism.
The lesson begins with an exploration of Charlotte Perkins Gilman, and how her beliefs could align with liberalism, conservatism and socialism. Students then define liberal and radical feminism using two videos, moving on to the creation of a table exploring the similarities and differences using the worksheet. Students then prepare for and complete a debate on whether or not radical feminists have alienated supporters as a plenary.
