I planned this lesson for my mixed ability Year 10 class who were struggling to identify ‘structure’ in writing.

I used a familiar extract (‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’) so students would focus on the structure rather than the narrative. The students found this useful and were able to use the scaffolds to complete a P1Q3 with the mark scheme in mind.
