The lesson starts with a retrieval quiz covering different aspects of the Biology specification. The lesson then look at decay and briefly the factors affecting it. This is followed by an application question. The lesson then looks in more detail at the factors again followed by a pair of application question.
The next stage of the lesson looks at the rate of decay including an exam style question and an application question.
The final section of the lesson looks at the practical applications of Decay in farming and gardening. This includes a worksheet on Biogas.
