Students are asked to follow the Systems Life Cycle to analyse, plan, design, create, test and evaluate a website for The Theme Park. Each lesson as a presentation (left plain so you can add your own background). Students can use the Systems Life Cycle document to carry out all tasks, stretch tasks, homework tasks are also included.
I have provided a SOW, overall assessment sheet/checklist and step by step guides for both how to create a website using Serif Web Plus 6. Students are also given a test paper (lesson nine) to check their learning for the unit.

This unit is a great start to the basics of Computing. Once students have learnt the basics listed in the lessons below they then take two test papers for assessment throughout the unit (test papers and answers provided). Information Technology Unit includes E-Safety lessons where students have to produce a leaflet to warn the audience of the risks and solutions of cyber bullying, predators, social media etc. Lessons also cover searching on the internet and spreadsheets. Every lesson includes a PowerPoint with resources and some contain videos for discussion. You also will get an overview with the lesson objectives and and overall student/teacher assessment checklist. Two cycle papers with questions and answers are also available.
