For those English-speaking students who do not get the concept of conjugation, a step by step approach to explaining verb endings with some tasks to identify learning.

Very easy listening/ reading exercise on places around town in Spanish suitable for Key Stage 3 for lower sets. Can be set as cover work or online work. Some adaptations would make it more challenging. Writing or translation exercises could also easily follow.

This is an ideal CLIL lesson. Students love volcanoes. Geology has lots of cognates. You can use this PowerPoint as a simple exposure to culture and French geographical features (the volcanoes of the Puy de Dome), you can also use it when you want students to talk about a visit in the past or the future. The end slides allow you to tackle prices, ask for tickets, choose what you are going to eat etc…
