You have enough to do so let me do some of the hard work for you. I have been a teacher in England for almost 10 years but I've been working in schools even longer than that. I have taught across year groups from Year 2 upwards in primary schools therefore I know what good resources look like and require. I also know how little time teachers have to prepare quality resources so wanted to share great resources for teachers to have the option of using instead of creating their own from scratch.

This activity is aimed at Upper KS2 children and gets them to show their understanding of place value by ordering numbers using the greater than, less than and equals sign.

Presented on a Powerpoint presentation, this resource provides 3 ability level tasks, aimed at children in Upper KS2, **which are displayed on the board simultaneously which means no/ minimal printing is needed. **

There are slides which explain how to do the tasks and the option of a printable spinner (needed for the middle ability task).

Then they move on to a spinner activity where they create their own numbers to order and finally the children needing to show how they could represent the numbers they make using place value counters.
