This lesson’s objective is for students to delve into the ancient people of Rome and to understand how they lived their lives and how they created a powerful and dominant Empire.
This lesson tests a student’s ability to acquire research from different formats of information with engaging and interesting tasks. The lesson also teaches students how to categorise information as well as make a final judgement in deciding how Rome became so powerful with an extended writing piece.
Content includes looking at Roman architecture, Religion, Military and notable individuals like Augustus, Caesar and Hadrian.
