Protecting Our Planet: People, Places and Practices is a complete Stage 3 Geography unit designed for the new NSW HSIE syllabus (implementation 2027). It’s fully integrated with English, Mathematics, and Science, with key literature embedded throughout to make learning meaningful and engaging.

With **5 weeks of ready-to-teach lessons **(15 lessons in total), all worksheets, assessments, rubrics, and a comprehensive teaching guide included, this resource gives you everything you need - no prep required.

Every lesson follows a clear and consistent Four E’s structure (Engage, Explore, Empower, Explain), helping students inquire, investigate, learn explicitly, and then consolidate their understanding. Content is delivered through a series of daily slideshows. Slideshow is presented in Powerpoint format (non-editable).

From global climate zones to Indigenous sustainability practices and World Heritage protection, students will develop the knowledge, skills, and vocabulary to become informed global citizens while meeting NSW Stage 3 outcomes.
