Complete each sentence in an original manner using the appropriate grammatical structure and add 3-4 words to expand on the sentence. Do NOT repeat any infinitives (-ar, -er, -ir) or any conjugated verbs in the present, preterit, or imperfect tenses. Be sure that your sentences make sense.

*Students will complete a total of 14 sentences.

*On page 1: Notes are provided on what grammatical structure / verb tense to use based on the clue word or sentence starter. (Ex: Tener que is followed by an infinitive, for “Ayer”, use preterit tense, for Cuando yo era niño(a), use imperfect tense etc.)

This practice can be used for classwork, homework, or as review before midterm or final exam. The notes on page 1 can be copied separately and given to students as a cheat sheet.
