…In order to depict the options, the writer juxtaposes the two prominent elements of Kenya, i.e beach and safari. The writer does this by portraying safaris as a routine through the use of the phrase “ fairly structured days of safari game drives and bush routines” which is then contrasted with the carefree feeling associated with beaches through phrases such as “you’re free to just relax and do nothing but sip long, tall drinks and watch the exotic Arab dhows sail idly by”. The use of the idiom “perfect happy ending” makes the readers believe that a visit to Kenya is like a fairytale that they must go to, making the place sound surreal……
