Rosa Parks is a great individual to study as part of a history lesson (perfect for** Black History Month**) due to her impact on society and the adversity she faced throughout her life. Rosa Parks is known for her pivotal act of civil disobedience on December 1, 1955, when she refused to give up her bus seat to a white person in Montgomery, Alabama.

Included are;

There is a timeline format version for children to show where in her life the events took place on a timeline, showing further historical skills.
A storyboard activity sheet with events of her life already in chronological order.
A blank storyboard activity sheet with the events of her life, in an easy-to-cut and stick format (alternatively, they can be used as writing prompts), leaving space for illustrations.

As a bonus, I’ve included a ‘Vocabulary for Historians’ writing mat, which aims to support students with their ability to use more historical vocabulary within their writing.
