This activity is based on the 21 wizards from the “Magical Elements of The Periodic Table Presented By The Alchemical Wizards Book 2. Each wizard acquaints kids with their own unique elemental magic as well as its amazing everyday uses. Arkyn starts out Book 2 of the Alchemical Wizards by introducing the important element Arsenic on his element page. Thanelen rounds out the Book 2 elements by presenting facts and other fun information about the metal, Thalium on his element page. The Alchemical Wizards say, “No Metal – No Magic. . .and No Technology”.

Using the sample Wizard Elemental cards provided, have students select an element from the Periodic Table and a Wizard Elemental Card Blank to create their own Wizard Elemental Card. The blank and sample cards do not have to match.

You will receive a pdf containing all 21 sample cards and 21 blanks to be printed on 8 1/2 x 11 sized paper or card stock. The pdf also contains a Magical Wizard Elemental Research Sheet for the students to work on before creating their unique Alchemical Wizard and an Answer Sheet for all of the Element’s Everyday Uses. Finally, students will write a short paragraph describing their Wizard Elemental using their research.
