Focuses on two poems for individual and comparative analysis-
(Percy Shelley’s ‘Ozymandias’ and Arthur Guiterman’s ‘On the Vanity of Earthly Greatness’) and feature articles on celebrity and human aspiration (‘I Wanna Be Famous’ & ‘The Man Who Thinks He Can Live Forever.’)
Approximately two weeks of close literary analysis using a wide range of activities, focusing on connecting literature and media reflection with contemporary ideas about celebrity and technological enhancement of life.
