This lesson is centered on Greetings and basic language forms for ESL young learners that are starting to learn English and this is their first contact with it. It’s meant to last about 25-40 minutes.

Vocabulary: happy, sad, hello and goodbye.
Key sentences: What’s your name? My name is…
Practice: activities for students to use the target language they have just learned.
Drilling: activities where they will drill the words and the pronunciation.
Games: to practice the language in a fun way
Revision: a slide to review the words and key sentences.
Goodbye: a song to say goodbye
Extra: some extra activities included related to the topic.
Homework: includes a short activity for the student to complete.
