Instructions :
Start by gathering all your ingredients in your mud kitchen area. Invite the children to explore the different textures and use them as inspiration to create their “Bubble Buns.”
Ask children to form medium-sized balls of mud in the palm of their hands. Encourage them to gently add flowers and grasses to decorate their creations.
Once the “loaves” are shaped, children can flatten them slightly and gently insert flat stones or pebbles to create the “bubble” effect.
Invite the children to spray a little water on their “buns” to set them and give them a more realistic look.
Let young chefs have fun creating different shapes and patterns with their “Spring Bubble Buns”! Praise them for their creativity.
Enjoy this sensory activity to explore the colors, textures, and smells of spring. Let your students’ imaginations run wild with unique creations!
