A long term plan for mixed age groups reception and year one. This planning focuses on the skills to be taught but changes the topic, to ensure the intent is covered for each year group, but the implementation changes, to ensure progression and no repeat topics. All areas of the EYFS are mapped out throughout the year, with year one objectives integrated where relevant. The document also outlines how specific Year 1 subjects are incorporated into continuous provision. Where possible, maths topics in Reception and Year 1 have been closely aligned to support ongoing mathematical learning within continuous provision.
