Use Lego bricks to colour code your word types. Children will learn that different bricks are used to build sentences.
Teaching grammar needs to be fun and children love to use Lego bricks to build things. Why not apply this to their sentence structures. Use the different coloured Lego bricks to represent different word types and model how each brick can be used to build a sentence. This resource comes with Lego bricks in the modelled colours and blank bricks in those colours for you to add your own examples of each word type.
