A themed set of ten, one hour, detailed session plans (with equipment lists) for a KS2, after school, STEM Club. For use by Teachers, Teaching Assistants and STEM ambassadors.
Although there may be some overlap with curriculum topics, the activities have not been planned to meet classroom curriculum objectives. They aim to widen the pupil’s experience of STEM in a hands on, enjoyable way.
The session titles are 1) Air and Flight. 2) Parachutes. 3) Gliders and Wing Shape. 4) Unusual Gliders (Hoop Gliders). 5) Folded Paper Planes. 6) Bernoulli - exploring lift. 7) Curve and Lift - Frisbees. 8) Magnus Gliders. 9) Spinners and Helicopters. 10) Jet Propulsion
