Health Teachers! It’s back-to-school season, and while you love a good “get to know you” game, you might be looking for something with a bit more meaning—something that builds engagement and openness in your classroom. You’re in the right place. The World Cafe method is the perfect way to start or end the school year, and my students love it—I think yours will too.

What is a World Cafe?
It’s a teaching method that changes a traditional classroom into a cafe setting and gets THEM leading the conversations/learning. This allows students to relax and have open discussions without the classroom jitters. They are given 5 discussion topics to research/reflect on the day before, and then day 2 is the day they come together in small groups to share what they think/learn from each other.
