A bundle consisting of 21 lessons for the entire Edexcel IGCSE English Literature Poetry Anthology.
Each lesson includes the following:
- Key terminology with definitions.
- Guiding questions on language, form and structural features to support annotations.
- Pair and/or group analysis tasks.
- Authorial context.
- Glossaries.
- Notes on form.
- A thematic grid that connects the poem to wider, holistic ideas and supports with comparison for AO3.
- Revision questions at the end of each poetry presentation for exam prep.
- Modelled writing, writing frames and a practice question to develop comparative analysis.
Originally taught to a mainstream, mixed ability Year 10 class.

- Reflection activities to help students audit their prior knowledge.
Suitable for a year 10 or 11 group that has covered the poems already and can be used to support an existing scheme in the run up to mock exams or timed writing. These slides can also be used for independent revision.
