A knowledge organiser based on the novel ‘Holes’ by Louis Sachar to support children when writing diaries. It focuses on the event whereby Stanley was taken to the Warden by Mr Sir after ‘stealing’ the sunflowers. It supports pupils when studying the novel at a deeper level. It includes key vocabulary, grammar requirements, suggested composition, sentence openers etc. Used in Y6, so objectives link to Y6 curriculum writing requirements.
