Golden Glow synopsis:
Annie and Dr. Wilbur are on their way to a fishing trip. Along the way, they spot an abandoned house on the side of the road. Wilbur stops to pick wild flowers for Annie, and then decides to explore the house. Annie follows him. They search for ghosts and instead find an elderly woman named Julia with a handgun. Julia allows them to escape. When Annie and Dr. Wilbur stop for gasoline, they meet a District Attorney named Barney. They tell Barney about the armed woman in the house. Barney leads the case and returns to the house to find out it was part of a larger operation. What could the old woman be doing? Where will her trail lead our trio? Find out in the Golden Glow Readers’ Theatre Unit!
