Non Fiction - Gender, Sexism and Feminism SOW

At least 21 Lessons - KS3 Unit of work on Non-Fiction with a focus on Gender, Sexism and Feminism. A variety of Non-Fiction texts, such as articles on Emily Wilding Davidson, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's We Should All be Feminists speech, Emma Watson’s HeForShe Speech, Malala’s UN speech, Toxic Masculinity article and many more. Resources include: * A reading and writing assessment with detailed preparation for each and self assessment activities after completing the assessment. * A range of activities for each lesson * Repeat questions for each lesson * A range of non-fiction texts, including speeches, articles, adverts, etc * Key contextual information covered * Sensitive topics covered * A wide range of worksheets * A variety of analytical questions and creative writing activities. * Reflection/plenary activity for each lesson * A Multiple choice quiz for after completing the topic, with 45 questions and answers. * Lessons based on AQA English Language Paper 2 Questions, with a inference, summary, language analysis and an evaluation question.
