Music Analysis Scheme of Work – Introduction to MAD TSHIRT (GCSE Preparation, Year 10)

Equip your new GCSE students with the core analytical skills they need for success! This 4 x double lesson scheme of work (400 minutes total) introduces Year 10s to the MAD TSHIRT framework in a clear, engaging, and student-friendly way. MAD TSHIRT is a mnemonic to help students remember key features to listen out for in unfamiliar listening contexts.

Suitable for all exam boards. My school use OCR, so there are two slides early on that detail the structure of our course, but these are easy to remove. All the rest of the content is relevant to all.
