Students can develop, embed, reinforce and refresh their knowledge of French numbers in a cooperative, communicative and interactive way, independently of the teacher. They are also ideal for developing French language skills in general, providing students with opportunity to engage with reading, writing and spelling in French.
The activity is versatile, and useful in a range of learning contexts - great for starters, finishers, refreshers and revision activities and sub / cover lessons. The questions are all in French for maximum language engagement. They range in complexity and challenge, both in terms of number and language. The questions also give students the chance to work with French mathematical language.
The set comprises the following non-editable files:
= 48 differentiated question cards, 8 per A4 (8.5 x 11) paper. Laminate if possible, as they are more learner-friendly, and remain in excellent condition for years. Laminate and distribute the pages of question cards, rather than cutting out the individual cards to reduce prep time more.
answer recording sheet - students generally use their class workbooks for working out and noting down their responses, though the sheets are useful for more formal assessment purposes.
= answer key - laminate these classwork, one per each group is sufficient.
