This is a lesson I used myself to teach the Diffraction concept of the waves Unit - A level Physics, AQA specification.

Learning objective: Explain the process of diffraction and link this to interference patterns

By the end of the lesson learners should be able to:

Success criteria:
Identify waves from a top view.

Describe what occurs during diffraction.

Explain why a diffraction grating produces light and dark zones.

Contains past paper questions that target this topic, some questions require knowledge from prior lessons. A guide is also included which showcases how each answer is reached.
