This resource is a study guide of all apsects of the CCEA A2 2 Geography Option C Ethnic Diversity specification. This includes the spatial context requirements of the specification as well, and facts and figures as updated as April 2025.

This 18 paged guide includes:

  1. Factors which define ethinicty (with reference to places for illustration ranging from Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom for example)
  2. Factors which influence perceived ethnic and social identity (with reference to places for illustration randing from London to Manchester, the United States (and the Chicano movement) and France, for example)
  3. Case Study of the Processes which create ethnic diversity (United Kingdom)
  4. Processes which maintain ethnic diversity and the subsequent outcomes (Case Study: Vancouver, Canada)
  5. Ethnic Conflict (Case Study: the Middle East)
    (N.B. both points 4 and 5 also contain some general reference to places for illustration too).

I am a past A* Geography student, achieving an A* in Summer 2025, with 70/70 (120 UMS) achieved in the A2 2 Processes and Issues in Human Geography examination.
