Part of a citizenship unit planned for KS3 covering a range of relational and lifestyle topics.
Students learn about some of the tricks that companies use to create distorted impressions of a persons body image. Students are made aware of social media influences and then listen to motivational speech from Nick Vujicic who was born with tetra-amelia syndrome. This is a rare genetic disorder that causes the absence of all four limbs and other severe malformations.
